Marso joins Michelin to test the new Energy Saver+ summer tyre at the test tracks of Ladoux, France
It’s a stunningly beautiful day with a clear blue sky to test the new Michelin Energy Saver+. Marso, the largest Michelin Partner in Hungary joins the pros to take the newly developped summer tyre for a spin. Located at the same site as Michelin’s Technology Centre, 10 km north of the headquarters of Michelin in Clermont-Ferrand, in the centre of France.
The 450 hectare test centre at Ladoux incorporates 19 different test tracks, including a precisely irrigated wet handling circuit, a dry 2.8km handling circuit and a 7.8km high speed circuit with banked corners.
While testing, the Marso team could benefit from a very large choice of road surfaces, tracks and driving conditions and from the latest technical improvements and the highest safety standards required by Michelin for testing its own products.
Michelin provides constructors and their suppliers the relevant testing equipments and vehicle and tyre measurements, as well as the competence of their engineers, in order to support and accompany the research and development projects of the tomorrow’s automobiles.
